Can you believe it? We only have 5 weeks until training camp! My squad, whom I’ve grown so close to, is so excited to see each other face to face and draw even closer to each other. If training camp is so close, that means our first financial deadline is right around the corner 
In order to attend training camp and launch in August, I have to raise $5000 by May 18. Which means I have 3 WEEKS to raise $4000!!
This brings back flashbacks to late last year when I deferred from the January route to the August route. It’ll break my heart if I have to do that again. Leaving in August fits perfectly with my plans for grad school, the countries on the route are already so close to my heart, and even more, my squadmates are the best and I cannot imagine not serving with them. So here’s the plan…
DRUM ROLL…
I am bringing back “Adopt a Box”. I’ve done it before a few times and had no luck. But this time means business, and God is my business partner. In order to meet my deadline, every box in the image below needs to be adopted, adding up to a total of exactly $5000. That puts me ahead of the game.
A few boxes have already been adopted. Could you please consider being my business partner, so together we can change “few” to “many”, and “many” to “all”? To partner up with God and I, there are two things you can do:
1) Adopt a box! That’s it! It could be box #1 ($1) or box #97 ($97). Whichever box you pick, the box is yours.
2) Pray and Share! Save the image on your phone. You can share it on Facebook or Instagram, share it with family or friends at work, or even print it and post it at your desk. If someone asks about it, jump on the opportunity to bring in another partner 
Before you do all that, make sure you pray. There is so much power in prayer. What kind of team would we be if we didn’t pray?
3) Buy a T-Shirt! What better way to show you’re on the team by wearing the team shirt? Every t-shirt purchased means $7 raised. If you’d like more info on the t-shirts, including making an order, read my previous blog.
