11 Interesting Facts About Me
I’m not the biggest fan of odd numbers, except 5, my favorite number. However, in this new stage of my life, I’m going to have to learn to embrace the number 11. So, let’s start this journey by learning 11 interesting facts about me.
1) In the first half of my life, I was raised in Zambia, a country I’m proud to have been born in. And the second half, I was raised in the US, the country I currently reside un. One can say I have a pretty good idea what it’s like living in a third world country and a first world country.
2) I am the oldest of four girls. There’s Luwi, who was born a little under two years after I was born. There’s Kuwunda (Kuku), whom I call my pumpkin. Last, but definitely not least, there’s Kuwaha (Wawa), whom I often refer to as my baby or princess.
3) I’m a November baby, born November 10, 1995. So is my baby, born November 30. The other two were born in September.
4) I once had nine cats. So, feel free to call me the cat lady, for I love cats, including the wild ones.
5) Other than my home country and the US, I’ve traveled to three other countries, all due to study abroad. In conclusion, I love traveling.
6) My love language is quality time. And if there’s one way I like to spend that time, it’s playing board and card games.
7) I am quite crafty, especially when it comes to DIY. I like origami, tie dye, art of various kinds, bead work, etc. If it involves me making something, sign me up!

9) My favorite book in the Bible is the Book of Psalms. I enjoy memorizing various chapters from the book and quoting them in my prayers. Even better is when the verses are used in music as David intended them to be.
10) I love cooking! Hungry and don’t know what to cook? Put me in your kitchen and I’ll make sure you lick your plate clean. On instagram I call myself Chef Wama Mama, cause at heart I am a chef 😉
11) I’m a class of 2017 Stetson graduate. I graduated with my BA in International Studies and a minor in Religious Studies. My college years were the greatest, most challenging, and life-changing years of my life. I’m glad I chose Stetson.
