It took us 26 hours to get to Cusco Peru from Lima by bus. Once here, we arrived at an amazing air bnb, not far from the historical center. Over course being in Cusco, we felt it necessary to watch emperor's new groove.
We took a walk through town on Monday, by the amount of police and people flooding the streets we realized it's the day after palm Sunday. Days kinda blend together. Easter is April 1st. He is Risen!
We talked to people, Held llamas, walked through markets and talked to travel agents for going to Machu Picchu and the rainbow mountains.
Tuesday we started passion in action. Vanessa led the first one. We watched heart of man and learned about freedom then prayed. We went out to the town square and water painted a picture with the intention to give it to someone. The purpose being to encourage someone or show them Father's Love.
I enjoy learning from everyone in this group. They have a lot to offer. For the rest of the time in Peru (one week) we hope to see Machu Picchu but also volunteer at children ministries or shelters. God put it on our hearts to spend some time working with children.
