The dark cloud of becoming older can fill us with worries, regrets and anger.
28 is not even that much, but it wasinevitable that Iwould stop myself from measuring my life to the unachievable expectations of the outer world.
Complaint and Comparison are the two Cs stealers of joy that dared to creep in. But, this year I chose to remind myself of how Iwant to define my life, which I’ve learnedthe hard way, are not the worlds definition of success.
I want to define myselfby the lessons I’ve learned, by the incredible people I’ve met, and bystoriesshared throughout my walks around the world.
What Idecided to do on the morning of my birthday was to wake up and list the 28 things I have learned and feel are important, and very much myself.
To you, who remembered and kindly celebrated from close or a far, this birthday, I thank you, for showing love, care and belonging to me.
