WOW. It has been almost 2 whole weeks of living in Guatemala. I wrote this blog a week after we arrived (on Good Friday) and would love to share it with you beautiful people!

After a full night of travel and 2 flights. We arrived in Guatemala!!! The saturation of my eyesight felt like it was turned up 5 notches. Bright blues, deep reds, vibrant yellows passing by in a blur as we drove past villages, markets, and tiendas. The woman boldly wear beautiful colored huipil and corte attires, looking like royalty doing daily chores.
I love how Jesus evangelized as He went. It only took one encounter to change a life. When the Woman touched His coat and was instantly healed. When Jesus spoke to the woman at the well, shared with her what the real living water. When Jesus healed the paralyzed man. All of these encounters were less than a few hours, yet life changing. I believe that’s how the Lord desires for us to live our lives. Evangelizing as we go!
On Good Friday, we went out into the nearby village to evangelize. Today looked like dancing with the little kids, buying them balloons and telling them Jesus loves them. It looked like helping the women hand wash their clothes at the village wash bucket. It looked like sharing the gospel with a man who’s been an atheist most of his life and sharing Jesus love with Him. It looked like following a 14 year old girl to receive a gift of a mini bible study in spanish. From removing the rocks to planting a seed Jesus was speaking through us as we went.
The spirit realm was CELEBRATING today. My heart is filled. To think that am I worthy!?!?! I am forgiven?!?!? I am loved??!?!? WOW we serve a beautiful, powerful, and perfect God.
