Helloooo beautiful people!

Updates

I’d like to first start out with updating you all on the change of plans and what’s really been going on lately. Due to Covid I will be spending the next 3 months at the Adventures in Missions base camp in Gainesville, Georgia. I only arrived here 4 days ago and OH MY goodness the Lord is already showing himself left, right and all around! The plan is to do intense missions training, team building, discipleship work, soaking up the Bible, doing zoom calls with missionaries around the world, having teachings on different cultures, and just staying rooted in the Word. I have already been poured into by so many amazing wisdom-filled, God-fearing people! Ultimately, the final goal is to be fully filled up spiritually and 100% prepared to go out into the nations (and Georgia as well if the Covid regulations lighten) to share the GOOD NEWS and GOSPEL MESSAGE of JESUS!

Faith

With that being said, I will be living in a tent and taking bucket showers for the next 3 months along with 115 other young adults throughout all 4 routes:) God called me to do the 9 month World Race and to trust him, regardless of what that might look like (in Georgia or across the world). I took a leap of faith and gave all my doubts up to Him. In January, my squad and I will hopefully be launching internationally to whichever country on my route is open at that time.

Fundraising

I am already almost 1/2 of the way funded and that is not including me putting all my graduation money towards fundraising. God is SOOO good- and so are all of you lovely people. I just want to thank everyone who has prayed for me, financially supported me and loved on me throughout these past few months.

Lord’s Peace

God’s hand has been over this entire process, from giving me complete peace throughout these most recent weeks of uncertainty to surrounding me with this wonderful community of young believers- I know He has big plans to come. Matthew 18:20 states that “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” and man can I tell you the Lord is here, present, and revealing himself all day, everyday at the campus!

Prayers

Please pray for the Georgia State Covid regulations to lighten and for country borders to open so that we can GO and share the gospel during these trying times. Pray for the health and safety for myself and every leader, mentor, and young adult on this campus.

Psalm 28:7

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him.”

I am so thankful for you all!

Blessings, Viv<3
