Hey everyone I wanted to
update you all about my time in Kathmandu, Nepal…We will be leaving this
Sunday for Romania to begin our next outreach. I have to be honest with you all
about this month it has been challenging. Nepal is a very dark place spiritually
surrounded by witchcraft. I chose my title because everyone you see has a red
dot on their head. Hinduism is everywhere here. The Hindu’s believe that this
red dot will protect them from evil, even though their whole religion is pure
evil. We even saw a Hindu burial ceremony where they covered the body with red
powder to signify purity as the body enters the after life. They then burned
the body and pushed the ashes into the water.  The spiritual realm was very evident to us this month as Our whole team was sick at some
point this month.  We know that it was a spiritual attack on us.

  This whole month
we have been serving at an orphanage and working with kids everyday. The kids
are very precious and we had some great times with them. That was basically our
ministry for the month which i loved being with the kids, but it was hard at
times because sometimes I felt that what I was doing was not significant. I
know that its a lie from the enemy, but I had to wrestle with that this
month.

 We visited a
leper colony twice where i was able to preach with one of my teammates and it
was a great time. What was hard though was that after we preached we prayed for
many people that had leprosy and were missing body parts like hands and
fingers. My teammates and I spent a good amount of time praying over them, but
we did not see any miracles at that time. It was hard because we desperately
want to walk in the power and authority that we have in Christ. We really took
it to the Lord as a team and the Lord has given us peace about it. We know that
some of the miracles could have happened the next day or later on and we might
never see it. I would just get frustrated though sometimes I just cry out to
the Lord you gave me the authority and You said in Mark 16 “He said to
them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever
believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be
condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they
will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes
with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at
all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” I
prayed this verse many times this month and I know i will see the fruit of it
one day, but until then the Lord has been teaching me patience. I know the Lord
has perfect timing and I know He is teaching me to wait on Him and to not give
up, but it is hard at times. I have nine more months to go and I am excited
about what the Lord is going to do, but I ask that you all would pray for me to
be patient and trust in His perfect plans.

 We have made some
new friends here in Kathmandu. THe orphanage that we are staying at is owned by
Pastor Peter who is has taught us many things this month. Another dear brother
Pravin has helped us immensely with traveling and translating. Please keep them
both in your prayers they have amazing testimonies. One of the main things i
learned this month was the impact that we have on our contacts that we work
with. The Lord showed me that our contacts get so refreshed and refilled by the
time we spend with them. Our team only has a short month in the area, but the
contacts we work with actually live it day in and day out. By the end of the
month i saw how significant our time was with our contact. I will post another
blog shortly after this one with more info on that.

 We had a great
hike one day in Nepal where we prayed over the city. The top was beautiful we
could see huge snow-capped mountains in the distance that surrounded the
Kathmandu valley. It was a good time with our team, but unfortunately i was
sick before the hike, but i did not want to miss it so i went for it. I felt
fine all the way, but that night we had some cheese and crackers by the fire
and the cheese was called Yak cheese. Needless to say i yakked up the cheese
all over my new tent that night four times while two of my teammates were next to
me in the tent. Note to self do not eat cheese called YAK 🙂 … It was some
good bonding time though with my teammates hahah…

This was at the top of the mountain that we hiked… and what you see in the distance are not clouds they are snow-capped mountains:)

Did you feel the mountains tremble…. waking up everyday to this in the Kathmandu valley was not so bad.. THe Lord is quite the artist:)

THeir was a Hindu
temple that was on our way up the mountain. I climbed the roof of the temple
and circled it 7 times and prayed over it. This month we went to several Hindu
and Buddhist temples and prayed over them and against all the spiritual warfare
in the area.

Below is the roof i climbed and prayed over… Probably could of been in big trouble if some of the Hindu’s were near the area, but the Lord protected me 🙂 Next to me is my dear brother Jon.

Below was a Buddhist temple our contact took us to. We learned about what they believe and in this case they have to touch some of the stones surrounding these idols over 100 times to be protected from evil.  These idols were so worthless it was sad to see people come, kneel down and pray to these worthless pieces of beeeep that they call god. Sorry i just get a little angry at the enemy for deceiving people with these manmade idols. We prayed over this whole area, and we could definitely feel the darkness that surrounded it, but things were broken in the spiritual realm that day Amen!

T

Below are the objects that these Buddhist would go in circles and touch over a hundred of them to be protected from evil…

I got a chance to preach
at one church this month. I was really grateful to get to speak and the Lord
blessed the message.  The Lord has been giving me words that i sometimes
wonder how in the world He connects some of the points i have, but He always
does it so well and its amazes me. Please continue to pray for more revelation
and to discern what message i need to preach at each location.

This was the Church i
got to preach at. My translator next to me was very good and it was such a
blessing.

We had a great time with
the children this month. It was very difficult to leave them, but God blessed
the time we had with them each day. One day we got to take them to the local
zoo, and it was a blast for them and for us!

There was a playground in the zoo that the kids loved

Salamay was the cutest little girl:) She loved her ice cream too

Kathmandu, Nepal was a hard month, but what the Lord taught us as a team was very important. Every day we would have electricity or water for a few hours, we would never know when we would have them, and we would never have them at the same time. Thats the first thing the Lord taught us, and that was to get out of our comfort zones. The second thing  we learned was how important it is to pour into our contacts as much as we can, and to give any free time we have to the Lord and let Him lead us. We also learned how real the spiritual realm is.  Prayer is so vital in breaking the strongholds and walls that the enemy has put up. In America we are very blinded to the spiritual realm and that is exactly what the devil wants.  It is so important to realize that our prayers not only can affect the physical world, but that it can destroy things in the spiritual realm that have come against the Lords Kingdom.

Thank you for your prayers and support we are currently in Brasov, Romania where we are being debriefed for four days with our squad coaches.  They will be pouring into us as a squad and meeting with each team. On Saturday we are leaving for our ministry and this month my team will be in Bucharest, Romania. Please continue to pray for support I am currently at $7,500 out of the $14,400. If the Lord leads you, and you would like to support me please click on the support me tab to the left and you can either mail a donation or donate online. Thank you for sowing into God’s Kingdom and trusting me as His servant.  Love and miss you all God bless yas:)
