Earlier this week, my team got to partner with another ministry (Titus Ministry) for medical missions outreach to a couple of villages! When we arrived to the first village, the leader Phil, of Titus Ministry, shared a brief testimony on how him and his wife came to starting their ministry. He shared their testimony to a classroom (of middle-high school age) as their ministry also provides education. In short, he shared how God spoke to them that there is a group of people that God dearly loves and that he wants Phil (and his wife) to go to them! That the existence of these people wasn’t even known to the local communities of the country. We found out later that our ministry host Jerry(at the orphanage) didn’t even know about them and Jerry visits many villages! we actually had to take a boat to get to this village.. Phil shared how many years ago they got into their boat (from the United States) and trusted the winds of the Holy Spirit to direct their path… long miraculous story shortened, they ended up in the village we were at. Before we began the medical portion, we prayed with the students!
After prayer, I happened to look to my left and noticed one of the students kept wiping tears from their eyes… If it ever feels like no one sees you, God does. If you feel you have been forgotten, you haven’t been. And if He has to get someone from the other side of the world to come to you, He can make it happen! On the flip side of it, will you be willing to move when God moves? When He calls, speaks, guides, directs, etc?…
