Here are some bits and snip it’s of how life was for me in Côte d’Ivoire aside from ministry! It was an awesome experience learning the language of the country, the culture of the region we were in and to get to explore a bit on our Off/Rest Days! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Côte d’Ivoire!!
We got to go on a small hiking trip, about 25-30 minutes hike to the top. Our hosts son, David, led the way! He has been quite gracious and patient for all the time spent with 7 women!

David also took us to a weavers village! Here we learned how they weave cloth and got to buy some things they make!
All of the beads for the jewelry in this village are hand made!!!
They let me have a try at the wheel… you could say I’m a pro now!! And I have a job in Côte d’Ivoire! lol
…except for, my legs are not long enough to reach the foot pedals so one of the guys had to operate those with his hands.
We got very familiar with the street markets in Korhogo!
Now this… this is goals! I bet all this weighs more than my daypack and travel pack combined! Which was at 102lbs when I left the US…
…so far, this is as far as I got. Just a bag of fruit..
Mango trees in Cote d’Ivoire are eeeverwhere!!

I actually enjoyed washing my clothes by hand!
Found a small paradise!! We came here in a Saturday to rest and spend some quiet time with God!

The street we lived on in Korhogo…

After our month of ministry in Korhogo ended, my team and I got to spend a day in the city of Abidjan!

Beautiful view of the city of Abidjan…
We didn’t get to visit the ocean but at least I got to see it on our way to Ghana!!
Stay tuned for posts on the amazing ways God has been moving here in Ghana in ministry!!
Thank you for all the support and love!
Much Love,
Viktoriya (:
