I hope you find joy, encouragement and a partnership with me in between my posts and videos (subscribe so you don’t miss them!) of me trying to wrap my head around the wonders and immensity of our Lord as we make Him known and simply share His love, me *attempting* to summarize some of my thoughts, detailed updates on God’s children across the world and each country’s beautiful culture, among whatever my little hands can create during my 11 months abroad. But before any of that, here is a blurb and a half about who you are partnering with:

I was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica and “Pura Vida” is more than just a catchy slogan to throw on t-shirts and towels. It’s actually a pretty neat way to view life. Yes we have a lot of monkeys and sloths, they are great and I do in fact belong at the beach.
- I am now a proud Texan, so I say y’all, drink sweet tea and stop at every bucee’s
- I am training myself to eat, notice I did not say like, bananas
- I love to sing in the car, and in the shower and in the kitchen and honestly everywhere, but I apologize in advance for the pain it will cause your ears. OH and let’s just say I can’t go a week without a mini-dance party in my living room
- I am loved by God (and friend, so are YOU!) and that is the only reason I am able to do/get through things. This is the fuel that keeps me going and the simple fact (yet so deep and true) I run to when things get a little sticky
- I am always down to play any sort of card game. Oh I also recently discovered I want to get good at tennis
- I love elephants and planet earth documentaries on netflix, but who doesn’t?
- I have the cutest little siblings, hands down

I love to hear about people’s hobbies, cultures, traditions and families. I also think knowing people’s favorite cereal is important

Ice cream cures anything. A long walk can also do the trick (but why not have both?)
- I believe in prayer, in community, early mornings that saturate your heart with His love and promises and in quiet walks that actively seek to find, hear and see the Lord’s presence all around us
- I graduated from Texas A&M University and will always bleed maroon. Fall and football bring a smile to my face

A little gift placed in the Hands of a big God can change the world, isn’t it cool that He invites us to partner up with Him?

I once convinced my dad drive over an hour to the border and through Mexico because I was craving a taco

A book and a glass of lemonade is my definition of a simple joy
- I can’t believe that we get to have such a big God, that pours immeasurable amounts of love and grace onto us daily and that holds His promises no matter what! Also have you taken a look at some of the wonders He has created? Not just talking about the beautiful sandy beaches of Bali and the Northern Lights but also about the pretty flower that is right outside of your house and that little heart beating inside your chest. Wow
- My grandma is a rockstar, and if she was still with us, she would somehow charm Adventure Missions into letting her go to the nations with us.
- I love food and I would strongly argue that cheese and crackers are considered a meal

When I was little I wanted to be a bus driver so I could talk to strangers. Today, I love trips to the grocery store

God’s character, story, words, perspective, instructions and everything else He sets up for us is a love story.
