This morning, during worship God reminded me of His faithfulness, a moment in my life where He showed up and how He has redeemed me.
He placed the call for missions on my heart when I was 18. He opened the door for me to go to Mexico with my church. He provided the funds for me to go. When my plane ticket was already purchased, I choose another direction for my life. A life that was wrapped up in an unhealthy relationship and without a relationship with Jesus. Even though I was disobedient, He redeemed me. I hit rock bottom as I went through a divorce. During this moment in my life, He didn’t forsake me but instead wrapped me up in His comfort and showed me grace. He brought incredible people into my life and opened doors I would have never dreamed possible. As I sit on the floor of a little chalet in the beautiful country of Malaysia, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness. Reminded of where I was and where I am now.
