Photo: Our fearless teammate Grace saves the day once again.
We have had toilet issues since month one on the Race. Starting in Haiti, our toilet was constantly clogged either due to someone forgetting that you can’t flush toilet paper or the water would simply not work. This issue continued as we went on to other countries and brought us laughter.
We are now in India where I find myself leaping with joy as I embrace the cultural differences. The clothing, food, animals (monkeys freely roam in our backyard), rich history and most importantly an official encounter with the “squatty potty”. Not only does this mean that Grace gets a month off from unclogging toilets but squatty potties are absolutely liberating. 🙂
Thank you Jesus for moments that fill our lives with laughter and for cultural differences that make us come alive.
