Those are my teammates up there sharing their stories!!!
This month on weekdays we work alongside an organization that provides meals and education for young girls and on Sundays we travel to different villages to share our stories.
I’m proud of each one of my teammates for stepping outside their comfort zone and being obedient to the Lord. We signed up for the Race not knowing what serving would look like from month to month but agreeing that we would serve in any way that we are needed, to Glorify the Lord.
Before the Race I would have NEVER seen myself standing in front of a congregation sharing my story and singing songs. Now, here I am again, being asked to share and sing in front of a congregation. While I’m still nervous, red in the face and sweating profusely, being obedient to the Lord has become much easier and clearer. Eventually one day, I will be able to stand up there with boldness and a little bit less of sweat.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Please pray for the precious little girls we are working with this month. There are 42 girls, ages 4 to 12. Basic computer skills, English, arts & crafts, games, and hygiene are a few of the things we work on with the girls. We have fallen in love with this amazing group of girls! Pray that these girls would find their worth and identify in Christ. Pray also that they would realize how unique, important and beautiful they are, regardless of what society tells them or the family life that they come from.
Also, prayers for fundraising are much needed. I have reached 75% ($13,580 out of $18,100) of my goal already! Praise Jesus!!! Please consider partnering with me in my mission to glorify the Lord and bring His Kingdom.
