Being away now for seven months, my brothers are what I’ve missed the most. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about them. One of my biggest prayers for them is for them to experience more of Jesus, to be surrounded by a strong community of believers and have Godly men to look up to and keep them accountable.
Last week this prayer was answered for me in a way I would have never imagined. My brother Paul was accepted into a university in Virginia. It turns out that this is a Christian University! He will be taking bible classes in addition to studying to become a pilot. Also, this program requires him to volunteer at the church. I’ve been praying and asking him for a long time to volunteer at church. I believe he will thrive in this new season and will experience Jesus in a whole new way.
Praying for months and years isn’t always easy. Keep on praying and celebrate the big and small answered prayers.
