INDIA was so sweet and precious to me. I loved the ministry, host, culture and country. I can go on for days about how amazing the ministry was that we worked alongside with. God is moving in India and it was an honor to be a part of His work there. Here are 11 moments that brought me joy:

We worked alongside an organization called Rescue Pink. This organization provides education and meals for 42 girls ages 4-12. During the school year, the girls go after school for tutoring and a snack. During summer break (currently it’s summer break in India), the girls spend a full day at the organization. I loved playing with them, doing arts & crafts, teaching English and basic computer skills.

The organization arranged a picnic day! These precious girls have never gone swimming at a pool! It brought me a ton of joy to see their excitement.

Chai tea time was a treat!!! Thankful for chai time and intentional conversations. I did learn how to make it Indian style and am super excited to make it for my family and friends when I come back home! ๐Ÿ™‚

Taj Mahal was spectacular! It never crossed my mind that seeing one of the 7 wonders of the world would be a possibility.

That vehicle behind me was our main source of transportation. You’d be amazed how many people can squeeze into that little thing. ๐Ÿ™‚

Meal time!!! I loved the fact that we ate on the floor and with our hand.

Many girls in India are aborted, trafficked, or sold for child marriages. Rescue Pink works to change this by providing education and resources for girls and women. Rescue Pink put together an event to educate young moms and provided food for them to take home. Many of these women travel miles by foot to attend this event.

We put together a lesson on hygiene. Jewel did an amazing job explaining the importance of brushing their teeth and hair and taking baths.

Traveling to remote villages to share our stories was a memory I will never forget. These people are a beautiful example of hospitality.

Arts & Crafts with the girls! Making Mother’s Day cards. ๐Ÿ™‚

Our last day celebration! We danced, decorated our hands with henna, watched a movie and ate ice cream.

Embracing the culture with these beautiful women has been so much fun! Going to an Indian wedding, wearing traditional clothing, eating with our hands, and using the squatty potties were some of the cultural things we embraced together as a team.

Thank you for coming alongside me on this journey. Also, please pray about partnering with me in my trip. My total amount I need to raise is $18,100.
