Christ was obedient.

die for the world that is full of sin. Would you be obedient in what He asks,

I would venture to say
that Christ didn’t “feel” like doing this part of the Father’s will. He prayed
in the garden that God would take this cup from him because of the hardship
Christ knew he would face. But despite his feelings, Christ committed to obey the
will of His Father.

When we are obedient we reap blessings upon ourselves and
others. Christ reaped the ultimate blessing because He followed God’s will on
earth. Through that obedience we have grace and eternal life. Without it
we wouldn’t have this hope that we hold to everyday. But we must also obey to
receive this ultimate gift
