Sitting in a Malaysian Starbuck and living in the airport
for 24 hours makes you think…

I find myself on the internet at times looking at pictures
from everyone at home just see what everyone is up to. I often times see the
new outfits or hair that is perfectly straight. After awing over how cute they
look I jump back to reality as I look down at what I am wearing.

Green cargo pants with a pen stain on the left leg. A black
shirt
that is a little loose because I have worn it more than once. No make-up
on my face. My hair is ratted in a bun on the top of my head. Whispys flying
out from every angle because I just woke up from a night sleeping in the
airport.

Sometimes I wish that I was able to get up every morning and
pick out a new, cute outfit and curl my hair.
But I am a world racer…

I wear the same shorts at least three times a week.

I don’t have make-up or a curling iron because it weighs too
much.
A pair of earrings is my way of changing my outfit.
Showers aren’t taken everyday.
My hair is usually always in a bun that has pieces flying
everywhere.

I am a missionary, who is poor.
I stress over what to get rid of just to loose a few Kilos
to make the check-in weight at the airport.
Sometimes McDonalds is the only thing close to home, even
though I don’t really like it.
I live with 6 other people that I see every single day.

And yet as much as this all sounds absolutely crazy, I love my life!
