It’s crazy to think that I have been away from home for 2
months already. I have only ever been away from home for about two weeks and
here I am. Often times I will search through my pictures of friends from home.
I love to look at the faces and remember what it was like to be home again. But
I have moved on from this chapter of my life and now I am a missionary. I am
doing work for the Kingdom without getting paid for any of it. And I love it. I
look at pictures now of the friends that I have made on the race. Then I think
‘this is my life now, this is my extended family.’

Well as this month comes to a close I am amazed at what the
Lord has done. This months ministry has been a pretty crazy trip. Living in
Byron Bay; a land full of hippies, bare feet and dreadlocks.
Hitchhiking to
town everyday to avoid the hour walk.
Asking the Lord everyday what my ministry
will look like.
Living with 30 other racers then learning what it means to live
in community
.
Getting use to my new nickname, V.
Sometimes never knowing what I
will be doing in the next hour.

Peanut butter sandwiches, Cadbury chocolate and
Top Ramen.

Although this month’s ministry didn’t always have the impact that
you can point out I truly believe that we planted some great seeds here. Next month we will be going to the Philippines, instead of
Malaysia. AIM was not able to get enough contacts for us to do ministry in
Malaysia. I am very excited for what the next month has in store because I have
always been excited for Asia. I will be leaving on Friday the 26th
and flying into Malaysia for a bit. We might get to go out and see the city.
Then we will be flying into the Philippines for debrief before we go out and do
ministry.

I have been very encouraged by the comments that you have all been leaving. I welcome your encouragement and questions. Thanks for taking time out of your day to read about mine! Keep them coming!!

Ps. Missionary Living video for Australia will be posted soon. Slow internet….
