First off, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far on my mission trip. I would also like to apologize for not blogging much, but I’m back and have lots to tell you! Its been a crazy week. On September 7th I flew to Atlanta to begin our final launch training before flying to India. Originally we were planning on flying out on the 11th but our flight was delayed 24 hours due to hurricane Irma hitting Atlanta at the same time. We finally made it to India two days ago and have had down time after a very long travel day and as well as cultural training. We have been staying in a major city in southern India. The past couple days have consisted of lots of rice and curry, amazing chia tea, crazy uber rides, and buying culturally appropriate Indian clothes. Other than having a low grade fever and sleeping the whole first day we were here, I have enjoyed my time in India so far and am excited to see what the next three weeks have in store. Tomorrow we are heading to a smaller town near the ocean, to start ministry for the month.
I’ll talk to you all again soon!
