The month of June is right around the corner,
so I will soon
be back in INDIA!
A good friend
of mine actually just came back
from leading a group of high school students,
and she wrote me in an email this morning:
“… so much poverty, so much needless
neglect …
the
culture is intriguing,
and the people are so kind,
hospitable,
but what do they have to give, really?
Their resources are tapped,
and yet they smile.
Breaks your heart really …
Get ready for the overpowering smells
–
human and animal defecation all around
mixed with incense, food, body odor
(it was 115 F all week!) …
You will never feel more needed then
you do in India.�

leading the Real Life team to Andhra
Pradesh, India
during the

My team and I will be staying in the
state of Andhra Pradesh,
which was recently hit with a cyclone. Read more …
We will be spending most of our days at Sarah’s Covenant
Homes,
which serves children with special needs. Read more …
We will also go out into neighboring villages in the
evenings
to teach and encourage the local church and community members.
They are eager to learn more from the
Word of God!
And I am eager to
share what I know and have experienced!
Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love
And
His wonderful deeds for men,
For He satisfies the thirsty
And fills the hungry with
good things.
~ Psalm 107:8-9

for
the people who were affected by the cyclone last week and for relief efforts
·
for
our partner ministries and that we would be a blessing to them
·
for
the 4 young ladies on my team – that we would bond and be open to the work of
the Holy Spirit
·
for
my finances to be provided … I still need $800 to cover my transportation,
accommodation, and food.
