Team Karis took the initiative on this project, but with many hands helping, the new path is already completed, in just a few days!  The plan was to:

1.  Pick up trash along existing trail
(a muddy short-cut through the tropical brush, ducking under clotheslines)
2.  Clear away the dense vegetation
3.  Level the dirt and establish effective drainage
4.  Pour a 24″ wide, 100 yard long, concrete sidewalk

Dennis, Brandon, Ben, and Brenda head out with their tools: machetes and hoes.

It took lots of hard work by lots of people.

Even the neighborhood kids helped!  Mixing concrete, bucket lines … reminds me of Habitat.

And now the neighborhood of Cuatro has a cleaner, safer path to use.
(No, this photo does not represent the entirely finished path.
Yes, they did also finish the stairs and remaining 10 feet.)

I must admit that I did not personally do any of the physical labor on this project.
But everything is a team effort, and everything we do is for the glory of the Lord!
