Ministry opportunities abound everywhere,
and we (Teams Aletheia, Karis, Dunamis, & Hephzibah)
are so blessed to be under the direction of Jeff Long while in Manila.
He is the founder of Kids International Ministries
which runs a children’s home and helps out the community in a variety of ways.
Our main activities here include:
* child care (nursery to teens) – playing, teaching, chores, etc
* construction – on the tunnel (read more) and a new playground/park in the neighborhood
We are also eager to interact with the local community: playing with the kids, talking with the women, competing in basketball against the men, etc.
And, of course, another vital part of our ministry is to each other – living out God’s grace.
Teams Tranformers & Quake are serving at the new K.I.M site on the island of Mindinao, and
Teams Libre & Judah are working in the dumps and in the “red light district” of Manila.
