I get a big kick out of reading the blogs of current and past World Racers. Through their stories and videos, I get to know them as individuals, and I appreciate how God is working in and through their lives.
There are certain participants whose blogs really touch my heart. I would like to share with you some profound words of faith from current World Race participant Kyle Crimi who is passing on a message to the church: Believe that you are Mary.

He writes something like this:
So what do I mean when I say, “Believe that you are Mary!”?
I mean that in Luke 1:26-38,
God is saying to you, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you!”
This should startle you a little bit, just like it did to Mary.
But God is saying to you, “Do not be afraid… you have found favor with God.”
God is saying to you that He made you for a reason. He has a plan for your life!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
He is telling you that He wants to put something inside of you… and then He wants you to create something amazing… something bigger than the world could ever imagine… something great…
And like Mary, we might find ourselves saying, “But how…? I am just …?”
And God reminds us, “No, you don’t understand. It’s not about you. You can’t do this – but I can.”
He says, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.”
Let this soak in … really believe it …
believe that God loves you this much …
believe that God wants to use you …
believe that God has the power to do something huge with you …
And have faith …
And say, “Yes, I am the Lord’s servant…may it be done to me according to you word.“
