Since then,
I have signed up to participate in a FREEDOM WALK
that my church is sponsoring next month.
Its purposes are:
* to raise awareness about human trafficking
(yes, it happens here in Missouri too!) and
* to raise financial support for local and international organizations
that benefit victims of this modern-day slavery

Unfortunately, some version of human trafficking
is probably going on in your own hometown too, but
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Stay informed and
partner with organizations,
coalitions, and individuals
who are actively involved in stopping human
trafficking and
in helping the people who are affected by it.
