God has been awesome about giving me confirmation about a lot of different things.

He blesses me by repeating a message from
multiple sources
(that’s how I know He really
needs me to hear it!).

So this morning during team prayer, Cara read aloud a
psalm.  I didn’t know which one it was,
but these verses really tugged at my heart:

“I sought the Lord and He answered me;

He delivered me from all my fears.

Those who look to Him are radiant;

Their faces are never covered in shame.

The poor man called, and the Lord heard him;

He saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who
fear Him,

And He delivers him.”

Half an hour later, during squad prayer, it was
quiet, so I flipped through my Bible, trying to find that Psalm, so that I
could meditate on it some more.

Well,
there are a lot of psalms, so I couldn’t find it, but as I browsed, my eyes
stopped at Psalm 84.  It’s a good one too
(they all are!).  These verses stood out
to me:

            “How lovely is
your dwelling place,

                        O
Lord Almighty.

            My soul
yearns, even faints,

                        for
the courts of the Lord;

            My heart
and my flesh cry out

                        for
the living God.

                                    …

            Blessed are
those who dwell in your house;

                        they
are ever praising you.

            Blessed are
those whose strength is in you,

who have set their
hearts on pilgrimage.” (v. 1-2, 4-5)

An hour later, our coach Gary Black was preaching to
us, and guess which two psalms he references?
Oh yes.

Psalm 34 (that’s the one Cara read; v. 4-7 are quoted above)
and Psalm 84.
God had already given those words to me today.
How cool is that?!

Give God a mighty
hand clap!
