This month, my team Aletheia is alone in Uganda.
We are the only World Race team based out of Bugiri.

In October, in the Philippines, we were with three other teams (Karis, Hephzebah, Dunamis).
In November, in China, we were with two other teams (Libre, Quake).
In December, in Kenya, we were with one other team (Transformers).
So, it’s about time we were alone.

I confess I was a bit anxious about being alone.
Being part of a team is hard.
It may be the most challenging thing about the World Race experience so far.
That’s not to say that it’s bad.
It is good.

We TRUST that God put us on these teams for a reason
just as He has assigned us our ministry contacts & locations for a purpose,
and that it is all part of the growing process.
Our personalities are so different and yet so similar that we really rub against each other. |
We like to quote the BIble and say it’s like “iron sharpens iron.”
We believe that we must have the keys to unlock another person’s healing.

Anyway,
these past two weeks that we have been alone have been AMAZING!
I’m not exaggerating when I claim that God has done a miracle!
Something in our team dynamic has definitely shifted,
and it’s hard to put our finger on exactly what.
We are enjoying each other’s company – actually preferring each other.
And we are more bonded than ever.
We are a united force – praying and worshipping and ministering with power!
PRAISE THE LORD!
