Dear High School,

As I walk through your halls today, the very last day I’ll be your student, I am reminded of so many things. The hours and hours spent pouring over school work and working hard to be successful in band. The endless times I’ve walked your halls laughing and messing around with friends. The times I made my upperclassmen friends late to class cause they wanted to make sure I was okay. The time we played baseball with the band with a custodian’s broom (which we broke) and a water bottle.

I am reminded of the friends I made, and the friends I lost. The endless memories I have here; some good, and some bad, but all to make me a better person.

Dear High School,

Thank you for all of the teachers that I’ve had, from the high school itself and from dual enrollment because they have tought me many things over the last four years.

Thank you for the experiences you’ve given me with my family and friends.

Thank you for the lessons learned the hard way, for they are to prepare me for the next season in my life.

Thank you for my parents’ support of every goal I set my eye on.

So. High School, thank you for this part of my life, and although it’s been great, I’m ready to see what’s in store for me.

With Love,

A Graduating Senior
