First and foremost, thank you from the bottom of my heart for following my World Race journey through my blog! I would LOVE if you’d subscribe my other blog called Hope 42:11, https://victoriasuepierce.wordpress.com because I will be updating that from now on!
A little background of Hope 42:11:
Let me take you back to Thailand during the summer of 2012, when I couldn’t tell God no anymore about starting/writing a blog…
Before Thailand, I didn’t like writing, but then something changed. I began writing, and not just that, I knew God wanted me to write. I knew they were words from the Holy Spirit, because each time I wrote it was something I needed to hear.
I began having my peer read my blogs, and they kept telling me I needed to start a blog, but then I always heard the lies “You can’t write.” “People won’t read it.” “Why share, people won’t understand?” The enemy didn’t want me to start writing.
After more confirmation, “I was like okay, maybe I’ll start one.” So while sitting in a busy, local coffee shop a teammate and I started brainstorming names. That’s when God lead me to my verse of the day, Psalm 42:11
Psalm 42:11 “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again- my Savior and my God!”
Then the word Hope came to mind. That was perfect!
There is hope for the trouble. There is hope for the lost. There is hope for the forgotten. There is hope for the saddened. I can be that hope. I can show people the real love, and that’s you Daddy. Our hope is found in You.
After onnnne more confirmation from a different squadmate Hope 42:11 was found. <3
God continues to confirm that I should be writing. Although throughout the race and the busy life, it is hard to write. I pray that God increases my desire to write and continues to do that.
I will also be adding minimal updates about my next chapter!! In August 2016, I am heading back to CHINA! I will be going back to my WR ministry contact, and teaching 5th grade for the next 2 years. Because of the security in China, I cannot go into much detail through social media! Want to find out more and follow that journey close??
