Wow! A few days ago marked my halfway point on the World Race, and I wouldn’t change a thing! God has been so faithful, and growing me each and every day. It’s been such a blessing.
One thing that God has been teaching me recently is my home is wherever God’s presence is. My home isn’t in Goodfield, Illinois, my home is in Heaven. He’s the person that my heart desires and longs for. I’ve loved seeing that grow each day, even through the storms that life brings.
For quite a few years I have prayed “Break my heart for what breaks yours,” and that is exactly what He is doing. I have been seeing each country like God sees it, so full of love and people desiring Him, but also full of hurting people – people who haven’t heard the POWERFUL NEWS of God – our Faithful, Almighty, Provider!
I used to say, “okay, God. My heart is Thailand – send me there.” Now it’s becoming a, “Wherever You send me I will be forever grateful, and will long for You. Wherever You send me, will be my home – because I long for Your presence.”
Yes, I meet people in each country that have such a special place in my heart, but we share the same desire – a desire to be with our Father in Heaven, and serving Him til that day comes.
In just a few short weeks, I have my final financial deadline of $4,363. I have complete faith that God has called me to the World Race for the full 11-months. I need to reach my deadline by July 1, 2015.
- If 44 people gave $100, I would be fully funded.
- If 88 people gave $50, I would be fully funded.
- If 20 people gave $220, I would be fully funded.
- If 9 people gave $500, I would be fully funded.
- If 175 people gave, $25, I would be fully funded.
- If 5 people gave $1,000, I would be fully funded.
