Month 3. Honduras.

How am I here already? Everything feels so normal, yet at the same time things seem so strange. There are days where I don’t even think twice about my life and there are days when I say to myself, “I’m swinging in a hammock … under a palm tree … in a foreign country. What is life?”

Nicaragua was full of all sorts of ministry: home visits, street evangelism, homeless men, medical clinics, schools, attending church services, working with special needs children, soccer games, choco-bananos (which are delicious), and much more.  As a squad we discovered things about their culture, their cities, their land forms and most of all the beautiful people who call Nicaragua their home.

This month instead of blogging about all things Nicaragua I decided to make a video. Firsts for everything! I’d love it if you could check out my video – don’t worry it’s only 90 seconds – and let me know what you think!  (Click “check out my video” for the link.)

I seriously love you all so much, and know that I’m not saying it lightly. Recently one of my friends (& supporters) said, “I hope my prayers are getting to you all the way over there;” and I want you to know yes, yes they are. The Lord hears you and I thank Him for you daily! Y’all are awesome.

PS: For those of you who have been praying for Ashley, thank you! She has made it back to the states safely and after a few tests they realized she did in fact fracture her lower back. They regulated her pain meds, are getting her all healed up and hopefully she will be able to rejoin us in a couple months. Continued prayers are still appreciated.
