Welcome! Thank you for visiting my page, I am SO excited to begin this journey in September & I am stoked about you joining me- together we WILL reach those far from God to give them “hope and a future.” Me and 54 others will be making our way to Romania, Ukraine, Chile, Peru and India. I am anticipating miraculous things to happen not only to others hearts but mine especially, my team and I spend 9 months as disciples of and for the Gospel.
If you do not know me already my name is Victoria Brooke Keller, I am about a week away from being 18 (April 5th) and I am originally from North Carolina. I have a passion for worship, an aspiration to share Gods love in EVERY country one day, a “hunger” for anything with carbs, a crazy love for my family and friends, but mainly a motive- and that is to be a living testimony of Gods unfailing love, grace, and mercy & to share that with others so that they may also be given “hope and a future.”
I’m sure most of you are wondering why I chose this as my next step, trust me- it was NOT what I had in mind, its even better. Some of you can’t understand why I would put my future “on hold” to backpack for 9 months but I will tell you exactly why- because its not about MY future but THEIRS- the people who have been overlooked, beat down, hopeless, hurting, not given a chance, searching, and lonely. You see, from a very young age God planted, planned, and purposed things inside of me that I would need for this upcoming season of my life. Some crazy things like being a missionary in Nicaragua for 4 years, losing my father, becoming fluent in Spanish, adopting a sister, journeying through depression, and even having to say no to some of MY hearts desires and plans in order to pursue HIS will. I am not saying God caused all of those things, but he IS using them. He has planted in me a commitment to creating relationship and a deep devotion to loving others the way he loves me. He has taught me how to use worship as a weapon to fight & a tool to draw near to him, and with that a passion to teach others the power of worship. He has instilled in me compassion and mercy and after much trial has taught me how to use it as HE intended and how to be compassionate and merciful with others. This is my next step because this is what the Lord is calling me too & I know the rest he has already taken care of.
