About me. Hmmm? This is one of those times like in class when you have to go around the room and everyone has to say an interesting fact about themselves. Instantly, my mind reels. WHAT could I possibly say about myself that is interesting? I got nothin' y'all.

We'll give it a go anyways 🙂

I was born in Charlotte, NC but moved to Oak Ridge, TN when I was starting the 7th grade. Yea, that middle school, angsty phase when everything is over-the-top dramatic? That's when a major transformation of my life began.

It was in the 7th grade when I found JESUS. The lover of my soul. The savior of my life. The one who dances with me all my days. I could go on and on.

I spent my undergraduate college years in Knoxville, TN attending THE University of Tennessee! GO VOLS!

I am now finishing up my last year of graduate school in Auburn, AL where I am receiving a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. It's true what they say: Alabama is it's own little world. I like being a part of that world.

My family is everything to me. I could write a whole blog on their exquisitely fun, big-hearted selves. For now, I'll give you some one-liners.

My mom is audacious and spunky. She lives FULLY ALIVE, and I love her wholeheartedly.

My dad is brilliant and gentle. He is strong in every sense of the word and the best dad a girl could ask for, and I love him wholeheartedly.

My brother Trace is ridiculously awesome. He is unique, gracious, hardworking, hilarious, the list goes on. The man can do anything, and he'll succeed. And I love him wholeheartedly.

My brother Grant, what can I say? He's one of those guys that everyone adores. He's thoughtful, caring, completely selfless, and SO MUCH FUN. He just gets me, and I love him wholeheartedly.

My sister-in-law Gabi (which my mom wonderfully states is not my sister-in-law, but by law she is my SISTER…I love that) is creative, talented beyond comprehension, graceful, loving, and sassy when you least expect it! …and I love her wholeheartedly.

I tell you all of that because THEY have helped to shape me into the person I am today.

Finally, just some fun facts: I love to roll every window down in the car and just drive, while singing at the top of my lungs of course. I may be a little obsessed with my dog. I love to read. When the last Harry Potter movie came out, I felt like my childhood officially ended. Skydiving = one of the best days of my life. Every time I see a pile of leaves in the fall I want to jump in it. I kind of feel like God put cheese dip in Mexican restaurants just for me. 🙂

I'm totally stoked for the WORLD RACE. And I never say, "stoked."
