It is a beautiful day here in Pittsburgh and I cannot believe that it is Memorial Day weekend! The saying “Time flies when you are having fun” rings so true for my time here. Today I was able to take a nice walk by the river and watch all of the boats and people pass me by. There were times I wished I was out on that water but then I was reminded of how amazing it is to have the opportunity to stay in Pittsburgh for the summer and how awesome it will be. I am so excited for all my upcoming plans, meeting new people and just enjoying the sunshine the Lord has provided.
Speaking of upcoming plans, I thought today would be a great time to launch my next fundraising opportunity! It is now time for my envelope fundraiser! This is a great chance for anyone and everyone to get involved. This means no matter where you are in the country you are still able to participate. This fundraiser works in that I have 150 envelopes online and in person numbered 1-150. When you pick a number then you have agreed to donate that amount towards my World Race fund. For instance, if you pick 67 then you would donate $67.00. Make sense?
Once someone has picked a number, I will black out that number on the chart. This numbered chart will be available online (social media) and on colored envelopes in person. You will also notice that there are numbers in black. If you decide to pick one of those numbers there is a surprise in store for you. 🙂 I will keep this updated online as much as I can and if every envelope gets taken then the amount would come to over $11,000! (If I did my math correctly)
