This month, our team is working in Kompong Speu teaching English to students ranging from preschool to high school. Our host family has a school called Home of Faith, Hope, and Love, where they hope to reach their community with the Gospel through this school.

This month, I’ve taught a class with ten-year-olds, and a high school class in the evening. Although there are challenges, I see the Lord’s hand in everything we do. We continue to do His work, and live our lives with palms up-ready to give up or receive whatever He desires.

Our host family is also constructing additional classrooms on their land, and this little boy is one of the construction worker’s son. The Lord has used him to teach me a lot about child like faith, and Abba’s desire for me to come to Him like a child. God also taught me a powerful lesson through this little boy about how we give as missionaries. I’ll be writing a blog about that soon.

At night, our team is responsible for leading worship, and teaching during the night worship session with the whole staff. God has stretched me in this area as I learn more about teaching about His Kingdom. Worshiping in English, Khmer, and Russian has been beautiful, and it just expands the body for me. We have so many Christian brothers and sisters around the world, and one day we shall all worship together.

During our time in Cambodia, we have bonded with our hosts and their children. Raksa and Ruth have six children, and it’s been wonderful experiencing this family’s desire to spread the Gospel all over Cambodia. Raksa and Ruth’s hearts burn for the people of Cambodia, and their hearts and work inspires me to be a better steward of the Good News.

I love these women, and I’m glad God has placed us together “for such a time as this.” Please continue to pray for Team Meraki as we continue to work through team dynamics, and as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. In this last week in Cambodia and in the following month in Vietnam, we are praying for unity and that we would continue to be intentional in everything we do.

One more thing….

I’m continuing to fundraise for my deadline of $13,000 at the end of the month. If you feel the Lord leading you, please partner with me so I can continue God’s work on the field. Thank you for your prayers and support.
