Dear Friends,

 

Hey y’all! As most of you all may know, I’m a freshman at Tidewater Community College, living back home in Virginia Beach. I currently lead 6^th grade girls at Spring Branch Community Church and they rock! I’ve loved every second of hanging out and sharing the Gospel with them. As a college student, my plan for the future changes almost every day. My recent plans involve studying photography, but as my career interests are always changing, the love I have for sharing the gospel stays constant.

I’m super excited to share with you an opportunity I’ve been given. At the end of January I was accepted to The World Race: Gap Year, which is a program for college-aged students to be a missionary in three countries for nine months. My route includes Thailand, South Africa, and Nicaragua. Our mission is to help local churches and ministries spread the love of God by visiting orphanages, working with women and children who have been sold into the sex trade, teaching English classes, helping with construction, and trying our best to meet the needs of each community. As fearful as I am, I know that God has put this on my heart for a reason. To make this possible I will need your support.

You can help in several ways. The most important support I will need is prayer. Prayer is powerful and I fully believe that God answers and provides. Another way is to support me financially. I need to raise a total $13,000.

• $6,000 by May 22^nd
• $3,500 by July 2^nd
• $3,500 by August 5^th

A few examples of ways you can help me achieve those deadlines

• 12 people donate $500 = $6,000
• 20 people donate $100 = $2,000
• 100 people donate $50 = $5,000
