This month was beyond amazing. We went to HOPEthiopia and it was incredible.  I have a lot of sweet stories that will be shared later but I wanted to take a minute to let reality sink in. A few hrs from now I board one of the final planes. We head into month ten!!!! 10!!!! What an amazing and humbling thing. This month flew by. It included a lot of homemade coffee, enjero, popcorn, mpvie nights with kiddos and snuggles, hugs and laughter as well as sweet moments and tears. A lot of things have happened. I got a new team named Symphony( they are amazing!!!) I went 29 days without the internet or talking in any way to anyone in America. I did mom ministry and spent sweet precious time with amazing women who are raising their children at HOPEthiopia.  I learned a lot about communicating in a kitchen with language barriers.  I played baseball and soccer and volleyball and I cut grass with a sickle. I washed feet of these beautiful women and I cried lots of tears of good bye.

I also had sweet sunrises almost everyday this month.  I woke up at 5:45 and felt Jesus. Durring worship one Sunday morning He just hit me with the trade I am making. I love fall in New England. I got to have bonfires and rake cut grass here in Ethiopia. I wore warm layers and had tea and watched the sun rise and set over green mountains. I traded my ocean waves for waves of grain and my foggy snowy mountains for rolling green hills but man is it beautiful and man am I blessed.

What a life I get to live! Thank you to all those who have partnered prayerfully and financially to make this happen. It has been incredible and it isn’t over yet!!!!!
