Hey guys! My name is Veronica Seder and here is a little about me:
- I am a social butterfly… meeting new people and making friends with anyone and everyone is what I like to do most! I love hearing about different people’s stories, experiences, and passions.
- I am kinda nerdy. Gotta say, one of my favorite classes in high school has been Calculus BC…or maybe Chemistry. I like challenging myself with rigorous classes. Going to school and learning new ways of looking at things excites my knowledge-hungry spirit. I look forward to extending my studies at a university next year (though I am not sure which one I’ll end up yet)
- I love to read!!! One of my favorite authors is Francine Rivers, a Christian fiction writer who is not afraid to tackle hard topics in her novels. Her books are thought-provoking, inspiring, and convicting. Even though I am a pretty slow reader, I can get through those lengthy things in just a few days by the mere fact that they are impossible to put down! I never am the same person I was after finishing one of her books.
- I love my job! I am currently a Team Leader at Chick-fil-A. I have worked there for over a year and a half now, but I never tire of it. Our amazing management challenge us to grow and develop ourselves personally and spiritually and teach us important principles for being a leader.
- I love to sing and dance! No, I am not extraordinarily great at either of those things, but I believe life would be so dull without bursting out in song or having a dance break in the middle of your shift every once in a while.
- I love cookies… ESPECIALLY chocolate chip!!
- Most of all, I love spending time with my family. My parents, sister, grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins…they are my world! I love them so much and I would not be who I am today without them.
Jesus has completely changed my life and His overwhelming love has redeemed me in a way that I cannot keep quiet about. I cannot wait to share the love of Jesus with the people of Swaziland and South Africa this summer. I will spend 2 months (one month per country) in each of these place. I fully believe God is going to do miraculous things over the course of our trip.
