(Sunrise in Caye Caulker Belize)

Greetings from Central America!! Currently I am Belize and in a few days we will be leaving to go to Guatemala. To think I only have 3 months left on the world race, I can’t Belize it?!! (wink, wink) Sorry for taking so long to give you all an update!

This month in Belize I had the pleasure of working with COHF, Children of Hope Foundation and Heart House. COHF is a Christian organization that sponsors children in Belize to go to school as education is not free here.

Through COHF each child has a sponsor and is fully funded for their school fees and school supplies. As school has started for some students I spent time with the organization packing back packs for the children.

Attached to COHF, is heart house. Heart house provides tutoring for the kids during the school year and breakfast in the mornings. They also provide fun activities such as Craft making and have hosted many VBS (Vacation Bible School) camps.

During our time at Heart House we were able to do a back to school devotional to remind the children that God is with you even when you’re in school. It was a pleasure working with an organization that not only meets the practical needs of the people but also the spiritual.

Check out the pictures below of my time at heart House and Children of Hope.
