I am at a new ministry in Cambodia!
This past week we got to put on a Vacation Bible School for the local children! Our theme was “Under the Sea”. We got to make all these fun under the sea decorations! The room looked so cute!
How things work in Cambodia!! Around 10am we handed out flyers for the VBS that was at 3pm!! We had a room full of children; I would say around 20-25 kids came!! There culture is so laid back they don’t really operate on time.
We started with a few worship songs then played a few games. Lots of water games because it is so hot here!! Then we did a skit or a puppet show! SO MUCH FUN! My favorite time was when we did the crafts with the children. We would color a picture that related to our Bible topic. I loved this time so much!! The little ones would color their picture then lift it up to me and I would say it looks beautiful then they would go back to coloring a few minutes and do it again! It was the sweetest thing. I loved it! After the craft we would play more games then sing more songs and finish with a prayer. VBS was so much fun!
We had 3 hours with them every afternoon and I got to love on them every second. It was so beautiful.
