This month in Lesotho team Spice Girls and Rhodashians are staying at Africa 4 Jesus in Malealea, Lesotho. The first night we arrived here you could see the stars and the galaxies in all its beauty. It was truly everything I imagined Lesotho to be like. As I woke up in the morning from my room, I walked outside to the sunlight seeing mountains envelope our home. I walked around the house seeing what it looked like apart from the night time, and even more mountains. Layers and layers of farm land, small villages int he mountains and sheep in the pasture.

Our main goal this month is to help our hosts, Peter and Kayla, go village to village, home to home, to interview the elderly with specific questions. The elderly in Lesotho are targeted by a man. Some have been placed in prison, but murders and rape are still happening to the elderly here. They do not feel safe in their home or their village. Some families on the other hand do feel safe and trust in the Father and the peace He gives them. We get to learn about them, their families, their work and also share and encourage the love of Jesus. With these questions that are answered, we write down and record them in a computer for our host to use as part of a documentary to make aware of what is going on and hopefully put a stop to it.

Another area of ministry we get to partake in is manual labor around the homestead. So far we have built two rock walls for a garden and a bench to see the beautiful view. We also get to make soap, collect fresh herbs around the garden and make mixed spices for our hosts to sell in support for the ministry.

I am absolutely loving it here. We are safe and being loved on by our hosts family and the translators we take to ministry. The locals are friendly, and the views are amazing. I have no words for Lesotho’s beauty.
