My time in Vietnam consisted of teaching English. We got to work with Fishers Kids English Club in Da Nang, Vietnam. This city is just the right amount of people, and noise. This city has so many beautiful finds, and even more beautiful people inside and out.

This month aloud us all to have our own independence. We were all on different schedules. All though this month was ministry, it felt as if I moved here, and got a job teaching English. We were in our own with meals, which made me explore and find new places, and discover the best coffee shop here!

This month felt like home in a lot of ways. This month made me feel 100% who God created me to be. I felt like the real me here; getting to get a gym membership for the month, going grocery shopping, and walking to English class. I’ve felt everyday the love of the Father through either my teammates, or the people of Vietnam, or the people I got to work with at the school. We got to build relationships with teachers from South Africa, and the United Kingdom. We got to have hard conversations about religion with the locals in our English club, and talk about things like forgiveness with the young adults of the community.

I never know what to expect each month, but the Lord always leaves me with more! Him and I got to connect on a whole new level of doing everything and anything with Him; reminding me to pray over the locals, and our drivers.

With English club, we got to have our own Bible studies with a man named Steve, from England, who had lived here for 17 years! Twice a week we got to learn about different things in the Bible, like Revelation. It was like Bible college again! We soaked up every ounce of those studies with Steve. We never think that we will leave feeling more blessed and more filled up than the people we come in contact with. As many of the seeds we have planted this month, the people here have also planted seeds inside of us.
