1st things first! I’m going to training camp, thanks to you! I needed to make my 5k goal by the end of September, and by the grace of God I am ahead of that deadline! I am currently at $5,279! That means I get to go to training camp in October, to Atlanta Georgia! Thank you to everyone who has giving this far, and has kept me in your prayers. You are amazing! Next goal I need to make is $10k by December!

Update on my life currently, since new things are happening every week! Starting next week I will be starting a new job at a gift shop in town. This job is only for a season, and has been placed in my hands by God. Awhile back I was getting frustrated, and a little worried, of how I was going to find a job after the summer. I told God it would have to come directly from him, because I don’t know where to go, or where to look. The next day, I was presented with this new job. He is faithful, and His timing is so perfect. Don’t stop praying those prayers, don’t grow weary or lose heart (Galatians 6:9)!!

My pastor from back in Oklahoma preached a sermon on your words having power over your life. What you say will determine your future. I’m a pretty positive person as it is, and I’m a firm believer in words having life or death. After watching that sermon, I started to walk outside, just declaring truths in my life, from little prayers like: “Lord thank you for my long, thick, healthy hair!” to big prayers like, “Thank you that no weapon formed against me will prosper, on the world race!” I did that for about 15 min, and it set the rest of my day for success. No one or nothing could wipe the big, fat, loud smile off of my face I had for the rest of the day. I know life isn’t perfect, nor do I expect it to be, but when life starts to hit, and the devil tries to knock on your door, it can’t shake you, because of the positivity and life you CHOOSE to speak over you. Words don’t have power until you go forth and speak it!

That’s my challenge for you today, and forever honestly. Sometimes I feel dumb or weird for speaking something into being true like, “Thank you Lord for the healthy 12 children my husband and I will have one day.” 1. I don’t have a boyfriend 2. I’m not pregnant & 3. I’m nowhere near that point in my life. BUT, instead of thinking that, I speak it out, and declare it. It becomes more real. And it uplifts your mind, heart and attitude, and just the way you see life in a whole.

Thanks for taking the time to read! If you would still like to give towards my missions trip, it is not to late! Go ahead and go to my main page (vanessadonnamaria.theworldrace.org) and press donate! Love you guys!
