“Loved” by Fresh Life Worship

“Know matter what may come your way, you don’t have to be afraid, no matter what you’re fighting through, He’ll be there holding you, no matter the sorrow no matter how tough today or tomorrow, know that you’re loved.”

No matter what you’re fighting through, He will be there holding you. You are loved by God, and His love is enough. It’s all you need! Don’t get me wrong, it took me about 15 years to actually believe, and feel in my spirit, that He is enough for me.

God is our home, and He is everywhere we go! I miss Vietnam, and the people I got to meet will always hold a special place in my heart. It felt like home there sooooo much, because I was doing all that I did withthe Lord, and not for Him. Iwas reminded that He is everywhere I go, and I forget that sometimes. I would absolutely love if my mom and dad could be here, doing ministry with me, and also being a shoulder to cry on when I needed it, but God himself fills that void, and I forget He’s just a call away.

I recently watched a powerful message by John Bevere at my church in Oklahoma, and his ministry showed a video about abandonment:

It answers the question, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to His children?” In the video there was this girl, and her father. We represent the girl, and God represents the father in the video. They do everything together; they run together, her dad helps her with her hair, and other things. One day, the girl gets eye cancer, and her sight is weakening day by day. She now needs her dads help to pick out an outfit, do her makeup, and run with her. The video shows the girl doing everything she did with her father before the cancer, now doing it alone. It shows her struggling, and crying out to her dad, “Where are you!? Where are you when I need you the most!” And it then shows that her dad was there the whole time! We just forget it. He’s there cleaning up her closet for her, handing her the right shade of eyeshadow, and being there to stop her from running off the mountain. God’s always there when we feel like we’re alone. He’s there to not make things easier for us, but to strengthen us, and make us better! But, we can’t do this thing called Life, without Him. He wants to help us.

I remind myself of this everyday, and even more so being in Cambodia teaching English. Teaching preschoolers English as their second language is far from easy. So far it has been teaching me a lotof patience. When they’re either too loud for me to teach, or crying because a classmate took their candy, I have the opportunity to comfort them, to pray for them, and to hug them.
