After spending 24 consecutive hours on buses, unmarked taxis and hours in immigration lines with many Venezuelans trying to start a new life, I’m so thankful to find rest in the beautiful city of Baños, Ecuador. Between the window view of the clouds kissing the mountaintops and the rooftop view of the cascading waterfalls… this was the perfect way to recharge??
A few small reflections from the last 3 weeks in Colombia:
??I thought I was a morning person until it involved cold showers
??My face after finding out my coffee choice is instant or mediocre watered down coffee b/c, according to locals, all the good Colombian coffee is EXPORTED ??
?? Grateful for exchange rate of USD->COP
?? Hand washing clothes isn’t as bad as I imagined
?? The ministry of hospitality is powerful
?? Food seasonings should’ve been on my packing list
?? A well regulated digestive system is under appreciated ??
?? Im so grateful to hear the sound of children playing outside
?? Never allow a $7 mani and pedi combo get you too excited. It can cost you way more due to severely compromised sanitary standards
***I will soon be sharing about what God has done in the last couple weeks in Colombia in the near future
