Welcome to my World Race blog! This will be the place to come to find out more about what the Lord is doing in me and through me on this exciting adventure!
Here’s a little bit of background: I was born and raised in South Florida and will graduate from the University of Florida in May 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, as well as Family, Youth and Community Sciences. I first heard about the Race when I was a freshman in college and over the years watched a few of my sorority sisters answer the call to minister to the nations through this program. In July 2013, I was blessed to go on an Exposure trip where we joined a team of Racers for their month in Rwanda (Go Team Bold-er! :)). The Lord confirmed that the next step after graduation was the World Race, to which I said, “Yes!”
I am blessed and humbled that Jesus would call me to this 11 month journey where I get to be His hands and feet to people around the world. I am also thankful that YOU would want to follow me through the ups and downs of this experience. I am very excited to see what God will do over the next year!
