My first step started when I felt the call to go on the World Race. I remember stumbling upon the site and truly feeling that this was everything I wanted; the travel, the mission, the passion, the challenge, and the chance to see, hear and feel God working in the world around me.
I have each of you to thank for helping me take the second step.
Yesterday, I started my trek towards Copperhill, Tennessee for training camp. Although it's a wound-about trail, the Lord blessed me with the opportunity to travel with six other Racers and avoid a major crisis when it came to buying a ticket. He also blessed me through so many of you who provided me with the critical and immediate financial support I needed to continue on this journey!
Not only does the Lord work in mysterious ways, but he seems to be pretty darn quick about it too! I cannot thank each of you enough as I begin to realize that this opportunity has become a reality, that training is tomorrow and that after less than a week I have already seen God work!
I pray that you will continue to keep up with me as I begin my journey of a thousand miles. I pray that each of you will be blessed in your own journeys and that one day we could sit down and talk about them together.
