Whatever you want to call it, I have one in less than 10 days. I have again reached a time-crunch, and let me tell you, they aren't that much fun. I first and foremost want to thank everyone who has been supporting me in every way! Both financially and through simple prayer and encouragement. Being able to talk about this opportunity and seeing other peoples' faces light up with excitement and wonder is more encouragement than they could even know; it feeds my spirit in this awkward time before the race when it's easy to let the insecurities, doubts and fears creep back into your mind and question the future you desire. I can't thank you enough for filling my soul in joy, and I truly can't wait to share every life-changing moment with you!
However, I need your help in order to do that.
I need a little over $1500 to reach my next goal of half of the cost of the race. Our deadline is August 18 and I need to have $6000 in my account to continue on. I saw God work a miracle through you by providing that same amount and more the week before training camp. I fully believe He can do it again!
But there is another "however."
I want to thank the next person to donate $500+ by offering them a portrait of their choice!
Art has been an incredible joy of mine and there is nothing like capturing the essence of a person. It fills me with joy to simply come close. This portrait can be of anyone you wish, loved one, grandkids, parents, friends, or you could choose the route I most look forward to sharing; having a portrait of a person, child or moment that you enabled me to experience on the Race. In everything I do, I want to share every bit of this adventure with you. I want you to see my growth and feel my joy and hopefully pour the same strength and joy and love back into you the entire time!
