Goa. You should go.

This past "weekend" we made a very quick trip to Goa India for a little bit of rest. It was by far the best weekend trip of my life. First. The beach is incredible and I forgot how much I missed it. Second. I love spontaneity.

We caught a 12 hour bus to Goa. Rode a number more buses to two beaches until finally landing. Found a room for pretty darn cheap and hit the shore. This is Christmas right? Isn't it supposed to be cold?

We watched the sunset. We ate fresh pineapple for a buck. We ate more seafood than needed. I had the time of my life and it was only the first day.

Papa showed up even more in the morning.

As I was walking along the beach that morning I found myself questiong how far to go, wondering if it was time to stop, to turn around and head back. So God decided to speak. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something in the water. I stopped and watched. He brought dolphins! They were so stinking close to the shore and they were beautiful. As the song in my ears reminded me; "Oh how He loves us." God reminded me that a lot of times I can look at this walk with Him – this journey – and wonder if it's worth it, if I should keep going. Is is really worth the occasional pain and waiting and suffering? Is it worth the times of distance and silence? All these questions…can I keep going? It's awesome to see God show up and it's moments when He blesses us, when He allows us to glimpse His glory that makes it all worth it. One moment with Him lifts the burden from your back. I love it.

Papa even allowed us more of an adventure!

We rented some scooters/bikes and went to explore the island! We found an even more beautiful beach and reveled in the joy of excitement and adventure and the beauty of God. He is such a wonderful artist!

I had the time of my life with my new team. I love and adore who they are and what they bring to my life.

Expect more photos. More videos. More laughs. More adventure.

Things are getting crazy.
