Dear Family and Friends,
It is with great excitement that I write to you about a new opportunity the Lord has brought into my life! I have always been interested in missions, and lately I have been enjoying what I felt was my daily mission. My job at the YMCA has been extremely fulfilling, and I feel that God is using me to impact the lives of children in my community. Over the past several months, I have felt a certain restlessness and a desire to go on a mission trip. I love to serve others and show them the love of Christ while experiencing other cultures and meeting brother and sisters in Christ. Through a lot of prayer and seeking the Lord's will, I have decided to go on the mission field on a trip called the World Race.
The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries. As of now, my route will take me to China, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, India, Nepal, Ukraine, and Romania. This life-changing experience is under the umbrella of an organization called Adventures in Missions. Through adventure, ministry, community, and self-discovery, World Racers have a unique opportunity to see the nations and have their hearts broken for the Gospel. On the World Race, my team and I will come alongside churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, teach English, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the hope of Christ and His love to the nations. I am so excited to not only serve God and partner with missionaries overseas, but also to travel and have my worldview challenged and reshaped.
As with any mission trip, support for this endeavor is essential. I am humbly asking you to consider supporting me through prayer and finances. To go on the World Race, I must raise $15,500, which covers all my expenses on the field. If you feel led to help support me financially, you can do so one of three ways:

While the total sum seems like an enormous amount, I know that our God is a God of provision, and He will provide! To break it down, I need to raise $1,292 for each month I'm on the field. If 52 people pledge only $25 a month, I would be fully funded!
