In the back of my mind, I knew this day was coming, that it was real. But now that it's here, it doesn't seem like it's actually going to happen. But it SO IS! Today after work, I'm driving to Granite Falls, NC to meet one of my squadmates, Adam. He'll be the first squadmate I'll meet, and I'm SO excited! Then we get to hang out tonight and get to know each other a bit before heading down to Toccoa Falls, GA for training camp tomorrow. TOMORROW!!! Tomorrow I'll get to meet everyone from my squad, and get a taste of World Race culture. Over the next week, I'll find out more about the trip, I'll get to know my squad really well, I'll find out who's on my team, and I'll find out the exact date that I leave Raleigh to begin the World Race. I also expect to learn a lot about myself and be drawn closer to God while at Training Camp, which is something I long for. My bag is packed (36 pounds!), the inside of my car is clean (for once!), and my GPS is all ready to take me to TC. Thank you SO much to all of my supporters! I can't wait to share Training Camp with you when I get back!!!!!
